Every once in awhile, we have a batch of refurbished devices! The refurbished devices have a 1 year warranty, often are our old design and colouring (beige instead of white), but have our newest firmware. You can expect all of the same great features of our Long Range Wireless, just at a discount on price and with some cosmetic imperfections.
Please note these are brand new devices, just made with some older parts and pieces. Expect the regular nice boxes to have scuff marks, the transmitter lids to have a few scratches from storage, and the colours of the enclosures to be beige. And other surprize cosmetic damages. They have the new style pressure chamber and fresh batteries. Only available in 13′ tubing lengths.
How does the Long Range Wireless PTLevel work?
The transmitter is mounted on the top of your tank where it is connected to the provided 13′ of 5/32″ tubing. You can order more tubing if needed.
The other end of the tubing is then connected to the weighted Pressure Chamber.
When the Pressure Chamber is lowered into your tank, the liquid pushes into the chamber and creates a pressurized air pocket.
That air pocket is then read by the PTLevel using a smart power saving schedule. More information on this in the knowledgebase
The data is sent to our online services over the long range wireless link and then using your WiFi internet connection, where it is processed into a level reading, alerts, and more.

Sump Monitoring
The PTLevel pressure sensors are not affected by temperature, freezing, frost, or dirt. So, they can handle your most challenging, dirty, and humid environments like monitoring your sump.
Cistern Monitoring
Weather resistant and robust, the Long Range Wireless PTLevel has a range of up to 1km (0.62miles).
Receive high and low level alerts, view history graphs, and get online updates as frequently as every 4 minutes.
Septic Monitoring
High liquid levels indicate you may be experiencing a blockage in your tank bed.
Consistent low levels could indicate a leak in your pipes or a tank leak.
Dashboard
Your Dashboard gives you a quick overview of your tank level, battery life, and troubleshooting information ("Working", "Not Connected", etc). From here you can access additional features and settings.
Usage History
Your usage history graphs allow you to see water level history (up to 1 month of included history) and battery life.
Power and Reporting
You can change your default settings to update more or less frequently. The default settings will allow your batteries to last 2+ years. Many PTLevel users prefer to have hourly reports (check the level every 30 minutes and report online every 2 checks).
Settings
Within your settings, you can change your tank depth. Here you can also change the name of your device eg "pond level", and put in your address if desired.
